AUGUST
1st:
Mare & Foal Inspection for Westphalian Pferdestammbuch e.V. Germany, St. George, Utah
(DATE TENTATIVE) Location: Lava Bluffs Equestrian Center, Hwy 18, ten minutes north of St. George, Utah
Dr. Andrea Sieg will be in the West to inspect horses at some point during the months of August or October of 2008. Please review the rules and requirements on the website http://www.westphalians.com/registration.htm for eligibility of your mares and foals. If you have a Thoroughbred mare or Warmblood mare with a minimum four generation proof of pedigree that you have bred, or would like to breed, to a Westphalian or Rheinlander sire, this is your opportunity to bring your mare and foal for inspection. Also, if you have a Westphalian or Rheinlander mare with a foal on the ground by an approved German sire, your foal will be eligible for inspection. Lastly, if you have a Westphalian or Rheinlander branded mare that you plan to breed, who has not yet been approved to the studbook, this is your chance to get her approved. Please contact the site host with your information regarding number of horses and stabling requirements. Limited stabling will be available. Contact Dr. Sieg directly with questions regarding eligibility of mares and foals. Costs are based on the number of participants and will be determined. If you would like your foal branded please make sure to let the Stacy Williams know as this will require the presence of a farrier.
