The LVCCDS is a Chapter of the California Dressage Society (CDS.) This means that members of LVCCDS actually join the California Dressage Society and select Las Vegas as their chapter. 

The CDS is an immense organization with over 5,000 members in thirty-six chapters.  By being part of a larger organization, our membership dollars with CDS provide us with several benefits.  Seventeen dollars of each membership goes towards group membership dues with the United States Dressage Federation (USDF.)  In addition, the CDS membership provides us with fantastic printed information and other resources including the CDS newsletter, Dressage Letters; the CDS Omnibus; the CDS Roster; and it supports awards, clinics, and educational opportunities on a grander scale than could otherwise be provided locally.

As one can see, membership dollars are not just for horse shows, but rather devoted to communication, education and membership service.
